Mt.Kitadake, at an altitude of 3,193 meters, takes second place in Japan for highest summit, following Mt.Fuji. Its iconic triangular shape makes it the principal of the Japan Minami (Southern) Alps Mountains. Many hikers long for standing on the top one day.
The climbing route is quite hard with and uphill. But the adorable alpine flowers blooming along the trail will cheer you up! Above the forest line, there is nothing in your way or block your sight. You can enjoy walking in the heavenly skies with panoramic view on a clear day.
